Ela, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2017. Beloved daughter of Aniela, the late Jozef, and Loving sister of Lenka (Tom), Bogdan (Anna) and Jan (Anna). She will be missed by her dear nephew Derek (Calgary) and many nieces and nephews with extended family members in Poland. The family would like to thank Dr. Shamim Taherzadeh, Ela's friends, the staff at Bayshore and Central West Hospice for their dedicated care and attention. Friends are invited to gather at:

A Celebration of Life will follow in the Chapel at 12 noon. To honor Ela’s passion for flowers and nature, the family invites all to wear bright colors as we join in a celebration of her life.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation.
Cremation has taken place on March 6th. Ela will be taken home to rest with her father in Poland on May 19, 2017. A Mass in Ela's memory will take place at St. Hyacinth R.C. Polish Church, 201 Lebreton St. N., Ottawa, on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 7:00 pm
