Maria Teresa De Leo (Nee Ariganello)
January 11, 1926 - September 24, 2016
DE LEO, Maria Teresa
(Nee Ariganello)
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our mother, nonna and bisnonna Maria Teresa De Leo on Saturday September 24th, 2016 at the age of 90 with family by her side.
Loving wife of the late Camillo (1986).
Dear mother of Rosina Gervais (Doug), Antonia Sulpher (Steve) and Carmine (Leah). Cherished Nonna of Christopher and Ashley, Anthony Montenegrino (Chantal) and Michael Montenegrino, Jessica, Jagger, Coco and Marlo.
Bisnonna of Mila and Alessio Montenegrino and Orly De Leo.
Predeceased by her siblings; Bruno, Raffaele, Giuseppe (Nicolina), Nazareno, Biagio (surviving Concetta), Giuseppina (Vincenzo) and Raffaela (Giuseppe).
Sister in-law of Dina De Leo (late Pasquale Coppola), late Raffaele (surviving Pina), the late Giuseppina, late Suor Maria, late Carmelina, late Antonio, late Vittorina and the late Francescina (late Antonio),
Zia to many nieces and nephews.
Teresa was a hard working and generous person who took great pride and joy in cooking and baking and feeding family and friends. She had a strong and devoted faith and enjoyed being of service to others at church and the community but her greatest delight were her grandchildren and great grandchildren whom she loved dearly and had the great pleasure of watching grow up. Her passing has left a void in all of us but the cherished memories will never fade and she will live in our hearts forever.
The family wishes to thank the staff of the Billings Lodge for their exceptional care and compassion.
